Jolanda and Jacob

As you can see our kids just love Jolanda. Here, our spoiled little Jacob is taking his afternoon nap.
Jolanda can bike to the sea from her house in Holland. She admits that the Pacific Ocean is much more pleasant to swim in. We've been to the beach once since she came, but now it is down to work. She is studying Spanish at the university, and working on a thesis for her degree from the University of Leiden. The theme of her thesis is very interesting: What happens socially, personally, economically, etc. when a person changes from the Catholic church to a Protestant church. She will be interviewing people in the churches here as part of her research.
