Happy Birthday Sweet Jessica

Jessica said her ninth birthday was the most wonderful to date. She enjoyed the little presents she received, a walk in the park with Opa and Oma and our friends who were staying with us from Guadalajara. We didn't have time to bake a cake this year, but she was quite content with a candle stuck in the leftover Christmas baking. And thank you Uncle Jon and Auntie Lisa and cousins for leaving a special surprise for her to open. In keeping with her age, she lost two teeth in two days, thus the above tongue-in-cheek picture. We are thankful to the Lord for our oldest daughter, who is maturing so quickly and developing a gentle and sweet spirit.
