Serious work

We spent some golden days on the home farm.

Pake was reaping a bountiful harvests, and we got to help!

The kids were giddy with excitement at being able to work in the garden. We have grown to be quite the city-slickers.

Almost two hundred butternut squash, forty or so large pumpkins, pints and pints of raspberries, and thirty frozen bags of garden green beans, a bag of tomatoes, a bag of green peppers. We left for home with a van full. Thanks Dad and Mom!! In these uncertain times, we were reminded of the true wealth of the land. "Having food and raiment, let us therewith be content. . ."
