Mexico's Bicentennial
Jacob's school celebrated Mexico's Bicentennial with a little festival of its own. The children's traditional costumes were adorable. The kids recited poetry, sang, and did little traditional dances. They sang the national hymn, and did "honours to the flag." It was a fun thing to participate in. Following the program, we all enjoyed a traditional Mexican breakfast, complete with tacos, enchiladas, jamaica juice, etc. etc. etc. :) Viva Mexico!!

I agree! "Mexican Cuties," for sure! Neat that you could be a part of that celebration! Won't it be incredible to part of the countless throng of all nations one Day?!
