Mexican Thanksgiving

We looked for the most Canadian spot we could find to celebrate Thanksgiving Mexican-style: Rancho La Noria. This Thursday after a full morning of homeschooling and scrambling to get ready, we drove up to the mountain ranch where we have held our church retreats. We rented a cabin for the night. This morning, Friday, we had a burrito breakfast of the porch overlooking "pastures green." Then the friendly ranch hand took us out riding! We came home after lunch feeling very thankful for the rest the Lord provides us when we most need it.
