Happy Birthday, Libby Anderson!
I was just sitting down to the kitchen table with a pile of songsheets to organize for the summer team. Eyeing the clock, I was calculating when to start lunch. Then I heard a hesitant, but laughing little voice say, "Is there anyone here who will come out and play with me?" There was Libby Anderson, a wide-eyed blond ten-year-old standing at the open front door. "Happy Birthday, Libby Anderson!" The kids ran down the stairs to greet their long-awaited new friend, as the rest of the Anderson family Zach and Sandy, Isaac, Eli, Nathan, and Brianna, tumbled out of their van, very glad to be done their week-long trip to Tepic. The day has been spent eating a birthday lunch, renting a house (yes, the Lord has provided that quickly!), unpacking their trailer, dressing up in dress-up clothes, playing in the kid's pool, riding scooters, chatting about how hard good-byes are, and making plans for tomorrow.
The team arrives tomorrow. Please pray for us in these busy times, that God would bless our feeble efforts. And especially for Rebekah-Leigh who has a bad cough again after finishing her antibiotics for the same just a few days ago.

I read that with a huge smile on my face - that the Lord blessed the Anderson's trip and brought them safely to Tepic, that you have a family to work with, and that your kids have some new friends!! Praise the Lord! Our prayers are with you all - and with little Rebekah and her cough.
We are so thankful to hear that the Anderson's arrived safely-and that they have a house already! When do they move in? We will remember the team in our prayers. Wilf and I are both wishing we could be a part of the team again. I will especially pray for your dear sweet baby! That is a worry that you don't need in these busy days. Keep us posted.

That is so fun that the team is arriving tommorrow, I wish I could be there :(. Where did they get their new place? Hope the babes gets better soon.
We praise the Lord for bringing so many kids & adults yesterday to hear the Good News of the Saviour! We'll pray that He soon restores health to those who are not feeling well, and strengthens all of you in these busy, exciting days.
And BTW, is there a way to comment on you mission blog, or did you purposely "turn off" the comment "button"?
